I guess I am one of many who seem to be having difficulty with the '03 6 liter. My problem is rough idle, no power on take off(gutless) until about 2000 rpm. How is a person to deal with this warranty problem? I took it to the dealer and was told , "there is no problem". Who do you contact? Where do you get the techcnical recall bulletin? Thanks.
jlwing, go see a salesman about driving an new one from the lot. If it runs like it should, take it back to the service department and have him explain why it runs better than yours. Let me know how that goes.
Thanks for the help guys, I'll try both. I'll drive a newer model in a day or two. I also went to the BlueOval site and copied the letter. A phone call will be made within minutes. Thanks!

could have saved you some time here.
f2-22 like to pop from one of 2 things most of the time. either the shifter handle and the fan cluch wires shorted / cut in half.
if you find the fan clutch wires cut replace both the fan and the water pump.
