Built in brake controller??

Built in brake controller??
How can you tell if you have a built in brake controller and how does it work? I bought a 03 f450 cab and chassis. All the lights and everything have been cut off the back. I see several wires. I am sure one is for back up lights, left and right turn, ground, tail. But there are about a half dozen more. Wonder what they are for?

I assume your talking about all the wires at the back of the truck
