Console top replacement

I just bought a 2005 F-150. It's in great shape, the only thing that's odd is this wooden piece on the end of the console. It certainly looks home made or aftermarket. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement part that matches the rest of the interior.

I would recommend refinishing the wood , and keeping it ,

I'm pretty sure a scrap yard is going to charge you for the entire console .

My rubber is coming loose on mine, and it is annoying. I wonder if that us why that one is wood.

Anyone know how to get it apart?

This should be the right part if I'm reading the diagram correctly.

Pulling this back up, the rubber pad has now ripped and is floppy.

Does anyone know how to remove it without tearing it up???

Mine was a royal PITA. I used a buncha superglue and then put a lil bit of weight on it to keep it in place. After a few hours of drying time (a lot more than necessary) I then used a small screwdriver to slowly work the outer lip of the rubber piece around the lip on the console lid.

Voila! Done!! Two months later and it's not moved a bunch.

Can't really tell for sure in the pictures, but it seems as if someone did good work making the one in the O/P.
