I am looking for a gem. A heavy gvw 77 to 79 preferably with ac, tilt, cruise, limited slip and definitely original rustfree excellent condition!
I am smitten with these trucks and am trying to get educated enough to find a really nice special one. Maybe even a low mileage needle in the haystack.
Any help or leeds would be greatly appreciated.
Does anyone know somebody with one of these that might be available.
I need one.

By "SC" I assume you mean supercab. They only came 4x4 in 78 and 79 and only 79 for the 350 (1700 of them made).

Original rust free is an oxymoron. To find the "gem" that you are looking for, you'll have to sift through a lot of dirt.

There are frame off restorations on ebay occasionally. They typically want 25K for them. Though I don't know what the end up selling them for.

I looked for almost a year to find mine with "minimal" rust (floor pan, door corner, rear fender).

But they are great trucks and worth the work.
