Hi All, I've got a KR with MyTouch Nav with a real annoying rattle behind the MyTouch stack right between the volume **** and the passenger's temp ****. Does anyone have any pics or guidance on how to remove that grey trim piece so that I can get some felt or foam rubber back there?

 

I just had something similar, I swear it's a screw, and it stopped now. I think the screw is jammed in something or fell to a place where it is secure, but sure sounded like a screw to me. Hope you find yours.

 

to take the center stack off, down below the cig light and the aux you take the covers off. That will expose a 8mm (don't quote me) bolt on each side.


After removal of the bolt then the center stack will come off. It is just held on by those little push tabs.


Just work your way around it. You still have your 4x4 switchs and stuff to work with that will come out with the stack but there should be enough room to lift the cover and disconnect them for more removal.
