Easy question!

Okay, so I have to replace (I think) the blower motor switch on my 95 Ranger 4cyl. So, how the heck do you remove that black trim piece around the radio, vents and a/c switches. I believe that this piece is called a center trim bezel. Do I just give it a hard yank? Do I have to remove the radio first? I don't want to break it. Help!!

Thanks.

Dave

Sorry, just saw this.
There are two screws you have to remove first. They are located by the heater controls, they are in the top of that area. The rest is held on with clips, so you should be able to pull it loose from there. Careful when you pull as the switches are connected to that piece and you don't want to break the connectors. Mine didn't have a stock radio, so I'm not sure on that, but I don't think so.

Also make sure once you pull the trim back, unplug your 4X4 and rear wiper switches (if applicable). Also alot easier if you remove the radio first, but you can remove the trim with the radio still attached if you're careful, but it's a lot safer and easier to spend the $5 on the radio removal tool kit (if it's stock).

Yes, much easier to remove radio first.
