hood Bling
Ok I know it might sound dumb but I'm thinking about putting a Ford hood ordainment on Pearl. I like the looks of some of the older ones, but i'm afraid that it might take away from her. So i was wondering what you all thought about them.

I'm not fond of 'em. They look out of place and try to make something that it is not. But if the grandpa look is what yer after then by all means go for it... along with the aluminum running boards and curb feelers.
If ya want some subtle bling, glue rhinestones in the recesses of the hood letters.

Hio Silver thanks for the idea with the letters. I was thinking of painting the center of the letters when i replace them later on. But the whole Idea of rhinestones is such a great idea. But I will have to add the side boards at some point. My girlfriend is short.

I was thinking about using the slick hood spears on my bump but never held any up to see if it looked good or not. I'm a bigger fan of the slick emblems then the bump side ones. Anyone got pictures of other generation emblems?

Im not sure just yet the npd cat has a few different ones but i like the look of that one. but i'm going to replace the hood first.
