Hood Scoop

I know that a hood replacement with hood scoops is the best way to go , but for me to put out $800 for a hood is too much. I look at trucks with add on type hood scoops or scoop looks good, but can someone tell me what type and how they did it. I noticed some trucks added a mustang scoop and some cut the hood and it works. This mod. makes the trucks look very good.
Thank You All

i am thinking about doing that to my 53 f-100.
i have a fiberglass hood and bought a fiberglass hoodscoop
for a shelby 40 bucks through speedway. im thinking about cutting the top and setting the scoop on and fiberglassing it in to smooth it out to make it look one piece. if you do your let me know and ill do the same.

I have seen These Hood Scoops on F-150's & F-250's around here & they actually look good. I have been debating on putting them on my F-150.

They are simulated (not functional) though but look good for appearance.
