The new radiator has a place to connect a hose under the radiator cap on the pressure side. This was capped off with what looks like a vacuum cap. It was a very thin rubber plug and only lasted about 800 miles before total failure. You are going to need to upgrade this cap with a better plug.
Plan A … was to use about 6 inches of 3/8 fuel line and a longer 3/8 bolt with 2 hose clamps on the shank portion of the bolt. Bend the hose down 90 degrees and secure it to the transmission cooling line.
Plan B … was to use a short bolt threaded into a small piece of fuel line and just clamp it.
I ended up going with Plan B as I tend to over think things. I did cover the bolt threads with silicon first and let it dry. The parts to do this came from a in-line fuel filter, as they come with 2 short hoses and 4 clamps.
