So I've been looking for a good lookin set of 37s lately and ran across Humvee take-offs. They would be goin on a 97 f350 7.3. The only problem is I can't find a 16.5" rim anywhere? Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I've heard the complaints on them, not here to listen to how bad they are, at 400 bucks a set I'm willing to accept the fact that they're not high quality. Just need a set of 37s temporarily until I'm ready to put the cash down on a set of grapplers
the first ones to come up on ebay:

The tires are perfectly fine for all year round driving, I've run them extencively in all conditions. There are several tread patterns some are better than others. American racing makes the AR23 in a 16.5 that I've run... My first choice is always Craigslist then 4wheel parts will give you the best price, they'll price match any advertized price. You could also run the H1 12, 24, or 36 bolt beadlocks w spacers if you want.
american no longer makes or offers 16.5 wheels for sale
True, tho there appears to be some NOS out there. 4wheelparts carries steel multi hole 16.5s 8 on 6.5 tho... I see 16.5s quite often but his geographical location may prove to hinder his options...
This doesn't help the OP, but I have the opposite problem. I have a set of American racing 16.5x12.5 rims that I'm looking for military tires (cheap) for. I have 33" bfg's now which I love, but are pretty worn. I'm thinking of using the hmmwv tires in the summer and mud/snow tires on stock rims in the winter...
OP - if you don't mind, where'd you get your tires? I've been watching govliquidators, but have come up empty for about 6 months now.
