I've got an '86 F350 Crew Cab 4x4. I bought it from the second owner, who passed on to me the original build sheet! (The original purchaser laminated it.) Where can I go to find out how to decode it without requesting another one? I don't even think I could because my door sticker is gone.
Thanks in advance,
Blake

Sorry, maybe what I have isn't actually the "build sheet" after all. I don't have access to a flatbed, but I'll try to email you a low-res digital pic of the form. What I've got is a form with sections labeled A through M, one line at a time. On A for instance, are the subcategories: rotation number, VIN Position, truck line, body, type of cab, Paint (with sub-subcategories body, accent and tutone deluxe), Trim (sub-subs A-26, scheme, color and seat), A-30, Floor mats or carpet, deluxe belts, console, headliner, remarks, region, district and special order (where there are choices DSO PSO and PTO).
That is just line A of A through M. Not every category has an entry, but the ones that do are letters or numbers. For example, On line G the second and third position are for the rear axle. It says C9, so I've been able to look that one up because it's pretty common, but I've got no idea about 99% of the rest of it.
Any help would be great!
Thanks again,
Blake
