It should, I Wouldn't be afraid of it afterwards. This isn't a massive problem. It seems maybe 1 in every 50k trucks do this or have valve issues. The 6.0 forum was alot of fun. I enjoyed my time there. I learned alot, and more then I wanted to. But I also learned not to make a huge deal out of every little thing. And to enjoy my ride when I could. Im pretty sure my 04 had blown headgaskets for the 135k & 4 yrs I had it. I just topped off the coolant every few months and forgot to worry about it. It never seemed to really be a issue. Plenty of power, great economy. That truck was amazingly reliable.
