Seat Covers

Where do I find quality seat covers for the 40-20-40 seats in an 88 F250??
Camo would be nice but grey will work.

Saddleman makes a good custom fit one, I got one for around $90 fromAutopartswarehouse.com instead of the $130-140 they usually go for.

Since a 40-20-40 was NOT a factory option in 88, you need to find out what the seats are from. THEN you can go about ordering seat covers

I assumed the poster meant the bench with the built in headrests and console like this one. this is a factory 87-91 "Lariat Bench"

Nope, they are the 40-20-40. I got them from a salvage yard from a newer Ford - just don't know the years they were offered. Far as I can tell they were only offered in 4 doors and ext cabs.

Well you need to know what they were from.

- 94-96 is one style(97 f250hd and F350 also had them)
- Then the 99+ Superduty also had them
- The 97+ F150 also had 40-20-40s too

So like I said, you need to figure out what they came from if you want seat covers since all 3 are different.

Also, the 40-20-40 came in reg cab, super cab and crew cab

These covers were on clearance at Wally-world. They are OK, but does anyone know if there are Carhartt ones available from anywhere?

I'm sure the truck they came from is crushed by now. I know it wasn't a '99 or newer, my guess would be a '95-97 F250 Ext cab. They are manual but have a lumbar button on them that I haven't hooked up yet.

P.S. Gilbert is a nice little town. I used to spend my summers between Kresgeville and Kunkletown!!

Ok. I assume they look like these then.
2 cup holders with a "roll top" cover and the hard plastic cover of extra storage.

Yeah. I moved here about 6 years ago. I reminds me of where I grew up in Jersey BEFORE all the city moved in

Marathon Seat Covers has some pretty sweet cordura covers in just about every Realtree pattern and many solids.

There are some nice fitting ones out there, keep looking.

I don't recall the owner of this truck but he shared some pics of his seat covers with me. When I was looking into this I a bunch of decent covers, but was down to two that I would actually buy. And there were about 200-250, not the crazy katzkin prices either.

Yep, thats them. I haven't figured out how to get the slidey rolltop to move freely either. There might be a panel missing. Is there a catch to get the center back rest to flip down?? I can't find it.
Because these seats are RED and my truck is tan and will be desert camo in the spring, I guess I'm gonna have to do something about the plastic "seat bases" .

Mine folds back and forward (or up and down if you prefer) with the heaviness of the seat and some of the resistance as a person would expect to keep it from flopping around. I don't recall it ever locking in place.

The previous owner wore a hazmat suit when he drove this thing it is so clean. I'm doing my best to to rectify this....
