Yep, thats them. I haven't figured out how to get the slidey rolltop to move freely either. There might be a panel missing. Is there a catch to get the center back rest to flip down?? I can't find it.
Because these seats are RED and my truck is tan and will be desert camo in the spring, I guess I'm gonna have to do something about the plastic "seat bases" .
The roll top pice gets jammed when change is put in the cup holders and then the center section folded up. You have to keep trying to move it OR take the large trim piece off (beware you WILL brake many if not all the clips that hold it on) But I would jut take the seats to an a Upholster. Putting slip on seat covers will leave you disappointed and you will see quite a bit of red still. Or depending where you are, there is a tan set in MA on here and ebay
As for flipping the center down... There are 4 torx bolts that hold the hinge to the lower section. they like to back out and then the center will not fold down. it will bind. So remove the center section all together, then loosen the lower sec ion cover and find the torx bolts, then tighten them

The center back rest started catching in my '95 F-150 at one point. There isn't supposed to be any latch, but sometimes it just wouldn't fold down (it would always lift back up). I never tried to figure out what was going on with it. Usually if I kept shaking it back and forth for a little while it would eventually come loose. That and I traded it in a few monthws after it started doing it (one of the biggest automotive mistakes in my life, trading that truck in on a SuperDuty).
on a different note does anybody know where to get seat covers for the standard split bench seat thats in ext cabs? i cant seem to find any for the split bench type.
I am trying to help my brother find a seat cover for his 1988 Ford F150 pickup and the seat cover you have shown here is exactly what he needs color and all could you contact me and let me know where you got your seat cove at Thank you Linda Tuggle. you can contact me at lindakingt@yahoo.com
I have a source for custom upholstery for 350 - 500 for a bench seat with armrest. He told me he has the pattern to make your seat and you can just remove the old one and install the new one.
