Transmission options
Alright I have an 06 f250 6.0 and I'm looking to hit between 500-600 hp. I am upgrading my injectors and turbo also adding a water-methanol system with a fuel pump and upgraded fuel lines. I was thinking of rebuilding my stock tranny with the ats basic over haul kit and getting an ATS five star torque converter, ATS billet shaft, ATS billet plate, and a deep transmission pan. But I have been told to just buy a whole new transmission. What are the pros and cons of doing the rebuild of a transmission? I've also looked into BD and suncoast. Looked at BD rebuild kit and suncoast new tranny. Any opinions or pros and cons? Thanks!
