Can someone explain to me Wat a j-mod is ? I've read some past articles jus don't know how it's done n how effective it is n how does it compare to shift kits like transgo, b&m, so forth. Pics would help with da draw da picture effect. I have an aode trans in a 94 flareside. Can I add a shift kit n do this mod also or is it one or da other. I was also looking into companies that already produce modified valve bodies like broader performance, art car, n so on. I'm open to all advice n opinions. Once it's done I don't wanna be messing wit it any more. Thanks for da help everyone ..... Appreciated !!!

Very effective from what I understand, it's similar to what you do when installing a shift kit and I have done those.

You have a 4R70w and if you install a shift kit you will accomplish the same things a j-mod does and a little more.
