Helloo. I need to find a head unit for my 76 F250. I want atleast an Aux in port. I would like to not have to hack up to much to make it fit in the original spot. Thanks. I want to hook up the 5x7 dual coil speaker for the dash, 2 kicker door speakers, and eventually a headliner with 4 , 4inch speakers in it.
That youtube how to killed me. It does matter which side of the battery you disconnect. And just reach up and depress the button holding the shaft for the headlight rather than yanking and pulling to get the switch **** loose.
I'm actually doing the reverse. Removed the aftermarket cassette player and speakers and am going back to an AM radio. Got a good dash bezel surround off of ebay that hadn't been hacked up. A radio face plate at a junk yard, and an AM radio at a junkyard as well.
Got a new dash speaker and will be getting door speakers at some point too. I'm also going to modify the AM radio by putting an FM transponder in it, and putting in an IPod hookup.

Haha, yeah... youtube hackery, YMMV I'm sorry for posting it now but there it is and was the first I found to inspire me when I did mine. Although not as bad as he did, I just went to another level of hackery
edit: 1976 Highboy Ranger, how about posting pics of your install?
