My cruise control sensor on the master cylinder started leaking brake fluid-wich i believe was a recall so i went to parts store bought a new sensor that came with a wire to plug the new sensor in Now my cruise control isn't working Any ideas on how to fix this?

 

Did you swap out the recall harness also? If not, its fuse is probably blown.

 

i did put the new harness in but i think there is a fuse there i will check it

 

ok i took out the link with the fuses it had two both were good and connected it without that link still nothing cruise control was working fine before this problem

 

My cruise control sensor went out a couple of months ago and my mechanic replaced it and mine has worked fine ever since. Did you check the brake pedal to see if the there could be a connection there?

 

Check the new pressure switch for continuity and see if it's actually any good.

 

its working thanks for your help i just dont have a light on the dash that says its working thought i did maybe the bulb burnt out anyhow it works
