cruise control issues
my cruise control went out on my 2000 f150 5.4. if i try to turnon the cruise, the light blips on for a fraction of a second, then goes out. cruise will not engage. i lookd here and found out about the recall on the brake sensor. i'm having ford address that today as it had not been done to my truck. if that doesn't fix my issue, where should i look. i did replace the switches in the steering wheel with other used ones, no luck.

update- took it to the ford dealer today. when he pulled the wiring harness from the brake sensor it was hot and had fluid in the plug. he put in a new sensor and the fused harness and all works well. i am sure glad i found out about the recall from this board. i may have had bigger issues soon!
