1979 Ford F 600 4x4

Year: 1979
Make: Ford
Model: F-Super Duty
Price: $3950
Mileage: 85000
Color: red
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): IA
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: 4WD & AWD
Color: Red
Engine: 370

I have an old F 600 4x4 LP delivery truck for sale. So I am told it was stored inside and was only used for bad weather back up deliveries. Clean looking old truck. The frame has been blasted and painted from cab back. One crossmemebr was replaced, I guess with the tank on it was hard to wash the mud from it. The pass side step has a hyd. tank mounted under it, mud has been traped between it and the step causing it to rust. Driver side paint is bubbled on the fender exstention where it meets the step, not rusted through. I did not pull up the floor mat. It feels like the drivers side is getting soft in palces, passinger side feels solid.
Cab mounts and cab corners are soilid.
It has rockwell differentals, high and low transfer case, lock outs.
V8 370 ( not sure i think) runs on LP
5 speed
I6' flatbed no hoist.
The trucks does have a pto with hyd pump and resivore still on it.
I just put this 16' flatbed on, if you don't want it with the bed I can pull it off.
Shows 85000 My GUESS is I would say that is about right.
I have only driven it arond the drive. Not sure that the speedo is working.
Starts stops high and low four wheel drive works.
New interstate battery.
Pretty clean for such an old truck, just needs some TLC
I don't have photo bucket yet. I hope it is ok to list a link with cragslist, I do have pics posted there. Or email me and I will send them to you.
It is located south Of Ottumwa , IA
I would keep this but I have to many toys now. I just though someone would love to have this beast.
I do have a chrome grill assembley that will go with the truck if you want it.
It has 900X20 on the rear and
22.5 on the front(new accuride replacement wheels)
Any question feel free to call me. 641-680-1310
Thank you

big 4x4

Can you post a good pic of the door build tag, the 4x shift ****, and the rear end tag?
Is the tranfer case divorced and can you get some shots of it also?
Is it front disk or drum Brake?
Thanks.

Can not find the typical build tag with axle weights on it. I will post what I did find. No tag on rearend. Yes divorced transfer case. Drum brakes.
Depending on the distance and time there might be a local guy here that could haul this, just ask.

I don't seem to be able to add any more pics. I do have the ones you asked for if you email me I can send them. jandjservices@netins.net

Thanks,
Jim
