To add a bit...
If your truck doesn't have remote start now, you'll need additional parts. The install instructions tell you about it.

There has been an update to the kit. It now piggy backs on the OBD port. (There is an additional port wired into the loom, so you still have a way to hook into OBD.

The vendor on eBay, dealerconsignments, can't activate the kit after install. That will require a trip to a dealer and the associated costs

Another vendor, allstarautomotive, was selling on eBay, but doesn't have any kits there now. Allstar's price was $379.99, includes shipping.

Allstar, located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is an automotive conglomerate that includes Ford.

The man at Allstar is Zachary Bourg. Phone number is 225-490-5164.
If he has kits, the price will include activation, which is just a phone call away.
Mr.B activated mine. Kinda strange to be standing next to your truck in Southern California and have a guy in LA lock and unlock it, set off the alarm and start it.
