obs engine swap?
Ok I might have to put a 95 motor in a 02 truck.
I know most the engine parts will swap, my main con concern it the flex pale. I know they changed the crank from one to another. Can I run a 02 flex plate on the 95 crank without messing up the balance. It would be nice if they made a 6 lug flex place for the obs trucks ,but I haven found one and stock obs to my knowledge is 4 lug. super duty are 6 lug

The obs have a six lug. At least mine does. 97. The crank differences were bigger counterweights and lightening holes. You will have to plug the fuel pump hole and the big one may be the hpop anti drain back valve. I think 94-95 had it in the hpop instead of the block like the 96-03 motors. Your intake plenums may not bolt right up either. I seem to recall one generation having 2 more holes. It will still bolt on though.
