A year and a half later plus 20k of miles still holding up no problem.

Even though I feel like this mod is not worth the work. My stock valve cover harness lasted 18 years before shorting and melting. Looking back wish I would of replaced all 4 and keep it stock.

 

My "how to" on the SD conversion. I ended up using a pencil torch with a soldering tip to get enough heat on the wires. A cheap iron will probably not cut it, least it didn't for me.
