'00 F250 SD
Hi all. New to this forum. So maybe there is something posted somewhere that I haven't stumbled across yet. But the bed on my '00 f250, is about shot. The supports under it I can poke my fingers through, the fenders are flaking away pretty bad, and the bottom edge of the gate is rotted pretty bad too. With that being said I was considering putting a flat bed on the truck. Was hoping for some feedback, and maybe some ideas/pointers if anyone has tackled this project. I'm a DIY type of guy, so I'm not interested in just buying one and bolting it down. My idea was to buy some 4x4s and lay them perpendicular to the frame on 12" centers. Then use 2x6s as decking.
