Instrument Bezel Question.

Looking for a replacement instrument bezel-dash. Found several nice ones on ebay. My question is- is there a different bezel for the diesel versus the gas? Is the glow plug light on the bezel or is it on a plug that stays with the truck? I need 4wd and wait to start light for a '93 if anyone has one laying around. Thanks

Posted in the 7.3 IDI section as well.

I believe that the bezels were made two, or maybe three ways. One wth a bezel mounted switch for push button 4 wheel drive. One without the 4x4 switch ( most common). And I came across a third that had both the 4x4 switch and a second set of switches next to the 4x4 switch.

Any of the bezels will fit. Get the one that works for the switches that your truck has.

I have an extra with no 4x4 switch, in good condition, if you are interested.

When you say no 4x4 switch, you mean the push button not the light when the 4 wheel drive is engaged, correct? I have the manual 4 wheel drive.

Send me some pictures if you have them.

That is correct...no switch knockout for 4x4. No pics now as I'm out of town.
