old school mirrors, wtb!

i know this aint the correct forum but im sure theyres a bunch of guys here with these mirrors.
Got a set of west coast mirrors off a mack truck i used on my 91 f350 i could trade straight up for a set of those?

What you are looking for are gooseneck or also known as tow mirrors.

I have some on my 88 f250. The thing I dont like about them is that they are so far back, like the middle of the door. I have a habbit of looking in the mirror to see that the door is shut all the way and I cant see the back of the door in the mirror. Minor problem, other than that I also like the old school mirrors.

I picked up a couple at the local pick-n-pull salvage yards. I did not get them all at once though - I got them in pieces. They are difficult to find, and once you find them, are difficult to get off the door. There are a lot of knock-offs out there. Both of my mirrors have the FORD logo stamped on the back. If you have a salvage yard nearby, go to the back where they park the large trucks and ambulances. That's where I got mine.
