Hi, Just got my Van recently and the shifter is loose. I checked out some videos about the 2 torx bolts that come loose so I tried to tighten them but they are alreay solid.
I tried to take off the plastic cover that goes around the steering column to see if I could get a look if anything else is loose from above but I couldn't figure out how to remove the plastic piece that covers the ignition where the key goes in.
It's almost impossible to see anything from underneath. Most of the videos I have seen there is plenty of room but I can barely get my figers in there. (thats what she said).
You need to turn the key on, then push a small pin under the lock to release the lock. Pull the lock cylinder out and the cover will come right off. It's easier to do than it sounds.
