OK think I have everything need do the swap😎I have a 98 expedition with 4.6 sohc.I have few questions main one will it fit with the 96 mark intake??oil pan mark pan looks like better pan do I have to swap them out???I also have a supercharger from the sc Thunderbird with a custom plate to mount on top😬This is a latter project my.How much HP could I see with this charger think there capable of 12 psi..Can this stock engine handle that psi..Thanks in advance..here's a pic
Ok so got the dohc in fit like a dream with a 97-98 intake.Hving problems with it running right.So it starts right most time have give a little gas.it revs great .but soon as I put it in gear it bogs way down almost to dieing point.Took it on my first test run today and had no power like it should. when I floored it just puts and acted like it was going do something.I hear some pinning and slight back fire.Timming????? I used all my sensors all vacuum from mark viii is as supposed to be.I am using my 19 lbs injectors with my 98 sohc may and I deleted the irmc's by just removing the butterfly's.I thought it run fine like this for now till I get a tune.Is this were my problem lay.And I'm only running with one knock sensor.I will post a video of it running with rev and test drive.Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
