Fan switch not working

On my 2008 SD F350 my number 1&2 settings on the fan don't work. Only 3&4.

What's the problem? How do i fix it? How much?$$

If the fan works on high speed, but not some of the lower ones, the blower motor resistor is the most likely suspect. This is an inexpensive part, and pretty easy to swap out. Lots of threads here for different years about how to do this.

If the fan doesn't work on any speed, pull the connector at the fan and check for voltage. If it is getting juice, the fan is bad. This is also pretty straightforward to replace. I posted a thread with pics when I did this on my '09.
