Borg-Warner T18 chirping
I've got a T18 in my 69 F100. It's a recent build, so it's only been driven about 150 miles since the engine and transmission were installed. In 2nd and 3rd the tranny chirps (almost the same sort of sound you'd get from a loose v-belt). It doesn't make any noise in 4th.
I was thinking it might have been a throwout bearing, but like I said, no noise in 4th.
Could it be clutch adjustment? It's all mechanical. Any ideas?
