TOB Noise

Just got a '70 F100 3-speed on which the tranny, clutch, pressure plate, and TOB just got replaced. The throw out bearing is making a loud chattery sound when the clutch is out. Could it be possibly that it isn't broken in yet?

you can get bad parts from the store. sounds like you did.

if i remember rite, the tob had clips that hold it on the fork. if one of those clips is not attached it will make all kinds of noise.

maybe somone forgot to grease it or the clip thing.
