I looked at your user profile. If your life sucks, must be something new or you wouldn't have what you have listed there.
My brother just died. His life sucked and he died because he couldn't, or wouldn't, quit drinking.
It sucks that my baby brother is dead, but my life does not suck.
If you want you life to suck, you can make it that way. Otherwise, find something positive and build on it.

This statement just shows how(censored) you are. There is nothing wrong with looking after self first. That said as soon as many women have a purpose outside themselves they often dedicate everything to it. Often this is children, sometimes it's a husband, or something else. Just because you have never been worthy of that dedication doesn't make them inherently selfish. Nor are they inherently stupid, they just don't think exactly like you(assuming you do think, evidence shows otherwise) doesn't make them stupid, women think differently then men, many are much better in some mental aspects then your average man. It's not about better or worse, it's about different and complementary.
