4x4 Factoury Jack
First of all, hello to the 67-72 forum! I spend most of my time over on Oilburners, seeing as I have an 85 6.9, but dabble over here from time to time.
My dad just bought a 1970 Highboy that he's going to spend a few years going through.
My question is this: I've heard that on my year F250, the 4x4 had a different factoury jack than the 2wd, as in it lifts higher. Is there a special jack for the 1970 4x4, or is it the same as the 2wd jack?

the handle
Ok, so don't forget the handle.
I think it's fairly common to find the actual jack under the hood but the handle end was behind the seat and in front of the gas tank. Between those taking out the gas tank and those re-doing the seat...the handle seems to disappear.
I am still looking for a handle. Have read about the later model handles still fitting but still need one.

He has the handle, I grabbed one from a yard truck the other day. The one I got him is the long one-piece style, but it was held down under the rear of the bench seat. That's where the one on our 72 was too. I've never seen the one on the radiatour support, not that I was specifically looking for it. Sounds like a much more logical place for it though, near the jack and all.
Thank you guys for all the info!!!
