cool. after i get my body fixed up, and then my truck running, we should have lunch somewhere. it would be cool to have two of these trucks parked in some diner's parking lot. should attract some attention.
Eric, I am in CT. Is your good for a 61-64 or 65-66? I have a 64 with a rotted front edge to my hood
Not sure if you read the earlier post, but the overall hood shape is the same 1961-1966.
There are holes the factory punched in them for various trims that might make them seem different, but a little welding or drilling, depending on what you need, should correct any subtle variations.

That I know, I don't have the capability to weld up holes and such so that's why I was concerned with what year. I just have badges without any trim pieces.

Remember, too, that 61-64 hoods could have just the badge or they could have the spears with the badge so if you want one versus the other you might want to specify. I know that mis-communication has been about the only issue I've run into when buying used parts.
The hood I picked up on Saturday was drilled for 1966 trim so exactly what I was after, but had it not had those holes they are easy to add.

Well you learn something new everyday, I was under the impression the trim was only on 65+, interesting that is was available for the whole generation. Thanks for the info.

Ya, here's one of the spears. If it came with these there are more or different holes than if it just had the badges. Different than 1965-66 for sure, but still some options in the earlier years.
