4WD Lights Flashing

Hi all! For little just about a week now, the 4WD drive High and Low indicator lights have been flashing on my 1998 Explorer Sport. I have no idea what this means. Additionally, now, when I go to turn the 4WD drive on, the indicator lights do not aknowledge that it's on, even though it physically goes into 4WD. I'm very confused and would like to save myself a costly trip to the dealer. Please let me know if you have any advice. Thanks....-Devon

4WD Lights Flashing

Buy a $12 Haynes manual from a parts store, or a $10 Ford/Helm service CD off eBay. I recommend both, but the CD will certainly tell you what's up.
