I have ordered a replacement ICP sensor for my 2002 F-250, 7.3
I thought I was ordering for my 7.3, however the description of what they are sending to me, P/N F6tz9f838a, is listed as a sensor for a 6.0.
It looks a little different from the one that is in there now.
My question is during the 12 years since the truck was new, have they changed the sensor?
Will this one work in my 7/3?
I don't know without trying to look up the part number, but there are some 6.0 ICP sensors for sale on ebay that will work, but they have a different thread on them. That means you have to use an adapter so you don't strip out the thread in your head or on the ICP and end up with problems.
If it threads in the hole just fine, then the sensor will work with no trouble.
