I am gonna be changing oil on my 6.0 for the first time, I had someone else do it in the past.

I did some reading on the forum to see what oil to buy and it seem that Rotella T 6 sync 5w40 is the popular choice.

Is there any sales or big discount going on for Rotella T6 oils? Any online coupons?

Trying to save a few bucks if I can I am a 50 year old fart going to college finishing up my degree with 3 young children living at home. Yeah I am a late daddy.

I will be using OEM filter. Any coupons for those too?

Walmart does $5 off a gallon every so often. I also use http://www.dieselfiltersonline.com when I'm going to be ordering a bunch of stuff I always throw some racor filters in.

 

I did check Wal Mart, their current price is 21.74 which is the same price on Amazon too.

Yeah at least in my area that's the cheapest I can find it.

 

Rotella has their annual fall $5 rebate going on, expiring 10/31: http://www.shell.com/rotella/promoti...promotion.html Unfortunately it's limit 2 per person, but I usually buy 8 gallons of T6 at Menards with cash on different receipts and then send the rebate with friends and family names and addresses. Menards will also usually have a sale with rebate on the oil during the same period. There is also a spring sale and promotion. It usually ends up costing me around $16 a gallon including tax. Not bad.

 

Up in Wisconsin I can find 5 gallon pails of t6 for 140 dollars seems pretty steep to me .when mobile 1esp is 130 for 5 gallons edit .posted in wrong thread .disregard
