I have read a few threads but haven't gotten all the exact answers I'm looking for so here it goes...

I have a 2001 F-250 Lariat and am looking to put in an OEM in dash navigation system. I have the stock head unit that has Sirius, navigation, sync, and everything else just no screen. My back up camera is in my rear view mirror also. My question is since I have everything the in dash screen needs in my truck would it be a plug and play with the new screen or are there more harnesses I would need? I want the ability to have the navigation on screen. I've been told I can get it on mine and it will come over the intercom(just never paid for it yet since I don't like that idea, I want to see it).So are the harness capabilities the same?

Also a bonus question?! What would it take to have the new 2013/14 in dash navigation system put into mine? I like the new controls and navigation system but I see theirs is mounted higher and a piece of the dash is separate. Could I get the face plate, controls and dash piece and the navigation system and plug and play?

4Dtech can possibly help you out at lest I know with upgrading you to the nav including providing the nav itself as far as the 13 stuff not sure.
