I am looking at putting my Perimeter Plus system (Ford alarm) in this weekend, and have a spot choose for my LED indicator (another member mounted it there, and that is where I got the idea). I am trying to figure out how to get the pieces apart to remove the defrost vent on the drivers side. I am guess they are snaps clips (like everything else on this dash). Anyone got any ideas? I have searched the F150 forums, and have found out how to take the front pieces off, but nothing goes as far back as I am looking for.
I have PMed the person who did theirs already but haven't heard back from them.
I toyed around with the pieces on Friday, and that particular piece just snaps in and out. I ended up putting my led in on Friday, along with the rest of the VSS system.
