How does a BOO brake switch work exactly? The switch moves with the pedal. Looks like a spring inside. I did a ohms test on the switch alone while pressing the brake pedal, the needle didn't move. So the switch is bad? Would that cause the fuse 13 to blow when I press the brake pedal?
Very unlikely, The switch pushes against the brake lever when you install it, thats why there's pressure on it when you replace it, once you hit the brake, the pressure switches to the booster arm causing the switch to close. Yes they are known for failing quite a bit but I never saw one short to ground and blow a fuse. I would disconnect the plug on the switch and jump it with a paper clip and make sure your brake lights work and the fuse doesn't blow, if the fuse blows again there is something in your brakelight circuit that is shorted to ground. Dont for get the brake light circuit goes through the combo switch, "turn signal switch" as well. If your turn signals work or hazards then it's safe to say most of the wiring from the combo switch back is good. Happy Hunting

I added a paper clip to the brake plug it blow # 13 fuse. So is there a wire that goes to my brake switch that is bare? Does a wire go from main computer to the brake switch to the multi switch on column then to rear brake lights. So how do I find the problem, please make it easy to understand. I just what to know how this works. This happened after I lowered the steering column to the floor, I did forget to unplug the brake plug does that help? To remove the dash.
I do not understand what you are saying. But if you are saying it only blows the fuse with hazard switch up then you have a problem with the Multi-Function switch or what it feeds.

The fuse #13 doesn't blow now. Almost everything is working now. The rear tail lights don't come on when I hit the brake pedal. Running lights work. The cargo light stayed on all the time before and was killing the battery so i dont know if that stays on all the time now. I didn't do anything different after pulling out the paper clip to bypass the brake sensor and plugging the brake sensor back in.
