Hey guys so I'm pretty much a rookie when it comes to wrenching on trucks but I've noticed a squeaking sound in my 2008 F250 from my front drivers side when I'm coming to a stop or starting from a stop.
It is definitely rotational because the sound speeds up until about 20 mph and then stops. There's no play in the steering and it happens whether I'm applying the brakes or just slowly coasting. I notice it turning both to the left and to the right so I'm kind of at a lost at how I can troubleshoot this or narrow down some possibilities.
From what i've read it may be a bad U-joint or maybe just the bearings. It's got 195k miles on it so anything suggestions as how I can narrow down whats wrong without playing hit or miss and replacing random parts until it's fixed.
