Tranny Cooler for sure !!!!! (i was able to get mine from a tranny shop here in town. Guy had a 5r110 rebuilt under ford warranty and required him to get a new cooler) So 6.0 cooler for free for me ! BIG BIG DIFFERENCE in keeping that tranny cool.
i do have a set of firestone airbags and brackets i got with a tire deal. i am going to hold off on the on board air because its pricey. gonna definately go with trans cooler next. is there a way to hook up little psi gauges to the airbag lines
Yes you can get a gauge.
There are kits you can buy or build your self.
If your on a budget which we all are and like putting stuff together once the air bags are installed you can install a "T" fitting and plumb it into the cab using 1/4" or smaller tubing into the cab. Very similar to the way a boost gauge is set up. All depends on how you want to do it. Some just leave the fill shredder valves open and check it with a tire pressure gauge.
The onboard air can be done fairly cheep also. Get a viair pump and buy a 2 + gallon air tank and plumb it all up. Its nice to have that way your not searching for air when you need it. Then plumb in some Train horns that way when the idiot in the Prius pulls out in front of your rig you can let him know that was not a smart move.
Big rigs....... big horns !
ok guys got my gauges installed finally. but my boost needle doesn't move. hooked it up how this picture says to do it. any help will be greatly appreciated.
Boost gauge won't show any pressure until you drive it. If you tee'd it like the picture and don't have any kinks in the line from the MAP sensor to the pillar then you should be good to go.
