central az......we have a battle royal between sams and Costco....Costco put in diesel pumps about 4 months ago ....the 2 stores are about 1 mile apart.[Prescott]...sams have introduced their new credit card giving 5% off fuel [not 5 cents/gal]...I know the price of a barrel has gone way down but this a.m. sams is @ 3.43/gal giving an effective $3.25/gal...that sams master card is worthwhile applying for if you do a lot of travelling...this battle has been raging since Costco put in their diesel..rage on forever !!just sayin.

 

That's what we need. In my town all the fuel outlets have decided to work together to keep prices up. Diesel finally went down to $1.329 which is only slightly over $5.02/gallon. If I drive about 1.5 hour to the next town I can get fuel for about $1.219. ($4.60/gal).

Ouch! I paid $0.019 per gallon this morning.

 

You must be a spending mo fo to get 20 gallons at .019 a gallon. That fuel rewards card must have the numbers wore off.
I paid 3.609 a gallon this afternoon.

 

All my materials are purchased using the rewards program. Saved $5,000 this year so far.

 

Oops. I should have made sure before speaking. It's actually $1.349 right now. ($5.099/ gallon)
