Two days ago, diesel fuel jumped twenty cents per gallon in my area (St Charles, MO). I guess the ultra low sulphur "added refining costs" are being trickled down.
yeah i guess so. IT is such aRemoved by Admin: inappropriate comment for a family site l a rip off. I live in Layton, Ut. and diesel is the only fuel to go up over 30 cents in the last week and a half. Gasoline has risen 4 cents. How does that make sense? There are more gasoline engines per capita than diesels and were paying the price at the pump. How can oil companies justify the rise in fuel costs like this?

Reason: a F!@#$*G rip off.
Just filled up in NJ @ 2.879/gal, up 2-3 cents in the last week. It's not the ULSD so maybe thats why. Not looking forward to your kind of price increase.
yeah, i can t believe it when i drive by the local station and see the price up 10 cents from the night before, and what really gets me is that i live about 20 minutes from a Flying J Refinery. SOmething isnt right. Somebody's getting Admin note: see our guidelines about language F****D.

I'm sitting on top of the oil refinneries and it just went up 10 cents this week. It's never been cheaper here though...sometimes it's higher than locations 600 miles away.
The cheapest I've found was $2.93 and the typical is $3.09
The SCARY part of all this is the "rumors" of what ULSD is going to cost. I asked a few, well the only two gas stations in town and both said $4+ a gallon. Talked to a friend that works on the slope and he was full of good news. He was thinking more like $5 per gallon. Now with those prices I would sell my truck and by a yugo but I need my truck for business so yep it bites.
