back up cam installed but ………...
after a few weeks of trials and tribulations i got a back up camera installed on my 06 SD.
I'm using OEM emblem camera with an Edge CTS for a screen
ran shielded RCA cable from camera to monitor and used back up lights as power source
the angle of the cam is great and gives a great view of the hitch and of whats behind the rig, and the lines that the camera projects on the screen are helpful
camera works good at night with my extra
two problems i see are minor but why not make it better if feasible, little hard to see during the day when back is in the shade and there is some visual static worse when motor running
any tips on how to fine tune these issues

have my own tip
i used (3) 6 ft RCA cables with bun connectors and ran along factory harness don't do that
now i have a one piece 20 ft cable running down pass side away from other wires
walla better!!!
i guess you lose strength at each connection and get interference from fuel pump wiring at very least
