no back up cam

no back up cam
2012 f150 backup cam went intermittent last year, then it went intermittent bluescreen, then it went out of focus, n staying on in drive. Now it just seems to be deceased.
Local repair place (former ford dealer) says harness full of water.
about 700 to replace. Im looking on amazon unless you guys come up with good suggestion. Wife misses her camera, I use crunch method
If I had wiring diag n knew what I was doing perhaps I could just install new cam.
Heck I can get a 7inch garmin with wireless backup, it even keeps track of bridges and my 11 1/2 ft trailer
Its a truck wires get wet!!
