Stiffer Front Springs

I have always found my front end a little too soft on my '13 2WD w/ 6.2L. From what I can tell from other threads here I might have some of the softest front springs Ford offers. Had the truck weighed and I am a few hundred pounds below the front GAWR. I already have bilsteins 4600 shocks. So should I get stiffer springs or maybe try a set of rancho adjustable shocks up front first? If springs, go with OEM FOrd or aftermarket? If Ford any advice on which ones and where to get them? Same question for aftermarket. As an FYI, I often tow a fifth wheel weighing somewhere around 10.5k. Haven't had time to weight with the trailer attached yet.

I had to upgrade the front springs on my 2006 F350 4x4 to hold the plow better. I think i had 4600lb springs; upgraded to 6,000 lb springs ("X" springs i think they were called).

I went to a spring shop to get it done, but they said they couldn't do it for some odd reason i can't remember. Ordered the spings thru a Ford dealer snd had a mechanic install them. Helped alot with the plow weight.

Camper package

I have Ford camper package, which is the first step over standard springs.
I bit stiff, but allowes a bit bigger loading, never bottoms out on reasonable drive.

On the 2wd trucks I think there is only the gas spring and diesel spring (dont quote me on this) so id just swap in the diesel springs and forget it

You could also install air bags.

Shocks alone will not help. The springs (or air bags) carry the load, not the shocks.

I had actually looked into that awhile back. Thanks for reminding. Certainly a cheaper and easier install.
