This might be me bitching a little but maybe it will help people in the future. I have a small burn/indention in my center console armrest were I left the rim of my plastic sunglasses for about a week or so. I'm guessing in the hot TX heat it someone how got hot enough to melt it. Drives me nuts because there isn't one scratch on my truck and it only has 6500 miles. To me it is very noticeable and I think its crap the material can't handle a pair of sunglasses being left on them. My mistake. I might have to replace it but I'm sure it will cost a fortune. Just be careful in the future if you leave anything on there.
I was wondering if maybe you got it good and heated up with a blow dryer or such and then laid a ice cube on the material. In theory the heat would make the vinyl more pliable where as the ice would have an instant cooling effect causing the vinyl to draw up and pull tight.
Like I said, this is just a thought. Enter at your own risk. Results may vary. Don't expect to hold me liable should you try this and it not only does not work but has any negative effects or causes damage of any kink.
However, should you try this and it works please let me know as I have a few wrinkles of my own I would like to make go away. Of course mine are old age wrinkles and a permanent facial scowl.
And come to think of it, just think of all the people who have taken a video of them or another doing the ALS Ice Challenge. In every video I have watched as soon as the person gets drenched with ice cold water they have all tightened up immediately.
Main reason I keep a towel on my center console. Keeps me from getting sweaty forearms from contacting that KR leather. That used to be an issue with the old KR saddle leather which I miss ever so dearly.

Yep, I had put some hand cream on my dry elbow and got it on the smooth black console in this Platinum. It was tough to clean up. I now keep a hand towel over the console. This material is not well chosen for skin contact. What do they think that only suits drive Super Duty's?
when my truck was only a few months old, I had some plastic rubbermaid boxes in the back seat during a trip to california...there are now permanent "lines" in the seatback where these boxes were..and why I don't know, I had a sheet over the whole seat, and these things still rubbed into the seat.. drives me nuts every time I see it..
