Engine miss
Well I replaced the valve cover gaskets and plugs. Did glow plugs while I was in there. Still have a miss. I noticed it misses occasionally. Not all the time. Sometimes more than usual. It has an occasional pop in the exhaust too? I suspect injector out or weak. It has 240 thousand miles on it and I don't expect it to have the best compression. I does smoke quite a bit when it hasn't ran in a day or two. Hot or cold out. Smokes blue. I am gettin it buzz tested Tuesday and will keep this thread updated on what happens. here is the link. Check it out if interested. I have only had this pickup for a while and I am still working out the kinks and such. Needs new batteries. Exhaust leaks. Glow plugs which I already did. Battery cables are old and shot. I also checked the injectors sort of when I had the valve covers off. They are all different so I am guessing someone already replaced one at a time as they went out.
