'54 Tailgate Latch
I just bought a 1954 F250 longbed and need some help with the tailgate latches.
Not sure if the one's on the truck are an aftermarket design or OEM type.
Can someone post some close up pics of the original latches mounted ?

Tail gate
Tail gate latch I just got mine after a six month Waite, really nice set. Stainless with a clear plastic tube over the chain part. Got them thru mid 50 in Arizona great people to work with. The company that made them are in Oklahoma City. I’ve spent a lot of money on my 1955 F-100, still have several back ordered parts. If they don’t have it, they will tell you who does. My first F-100 was a 1954. Lost it in a pre Divorce. They have several after market latch assembly’s all are nit chains. I really prefer the original style to that custom after market that’s offered.
